MT500 sound board from hyberdyne

I recieved my sound board from hyberdyne and the speaker is a little too big for my MT500. Has anyone else had this problem. Maybe there is some way i could wedge it in there.

I installed it last Sunday. The speaker is a tad too large. If you apply some slow, steady pressure on opposite ends of the metal speaker rim (bending it forward), you can get it to concave just enough to fit it snug in the plastic shell.

so how does it sound? It seems like it wouldent be hard to install?

Sounds and works just as advertised in the Hyperdyne video. As for the installation, I ended up putting the soundboard in the battery compartment - dremeled a hole through the plastic for the trigger and power wires to run through to the knob and keyswitch. You also have to make sure the Trig Wire + doesn’t touch anything else besides the tiny wire (the small nipple connector), otherwise the switch won’t work.

It’d be nice if it had volume control. I’m sure some folks may have figured that out. Any tips or instructions out there?
