Back in 2009 I set out to make two packs for a friend and I. It wasn’t my first pack, I built one in High School using plans from the old site (Norm’s I think?). I built them but never posted the pics because as soon as they were done, life kicked in lol. Bought a house, had a kid, etc… I also dabbled in making casting some small re production parts for my 72 AMC Javelin that I restored with excellent results. I hope to build a new set of packs for 2013 since mine are HEAVY!! Was hoping to do a pepakura style pack or something similar (hoping Proton Charger gets back with me lol).I though about making a good master pack and making a mold for fiberglass shells but the cost it too much for me since I have no plans of making shells to sell. Anyway, here is what I built in 2009.
This was actually taken a few days ago. I pulled it out of the closet and found some parts had fallen off and 2" of dust.
This is my favorite pic…after I built the pack my Stepson (wearing a RGB pack my wife and I built) and I participated in a local parade where we won the costume contest and were a huge hit with everyone!!!
