Hey all its been 3 years in the making but i finallay got the guts and time to attempt to construct my proton pack. Spent the last week doing as much as i can and this is what i have got so far,
Still got a lot of work to do but i will be spending as much time as it takes to get it ready for halloween.
Will hopfully be updating as i go along.
Looks like your motherboard is cut incorrectly on the left side. It goes past the slanted plating not in line with it.
its cut incorrectly on the right side too.
It just looks like it’s cut incorrectly it’s been cut the the outline of my shell, but still got to tidy the cuts up.
That’s not it; on the left side, the motherboard goes straight from the gun mount to the Cyclotron, and on the left it doesn’t follow the ribs on the power cell. Check this out:

No it is cut incorrectly. Take a look at the photos below. Notice on Colins correctly cut metal motherboard the outder edge of the gunmount box runs down to the 1st cosmetic plate on the cyclotron. This panel can be seen even when the pack is complete.

Awwww. Now you’re making me feel bad. 
Dam me to much of a rush and I have cut it to the exact outline of the shell rather that the outer edge of the cyclotron. :,(. Back to the drawing board, coz there is always another bit of MDF.

Looks great! But may I make one suggestion? Mount your alice frame lower down so the pack will sit higher up on your back. If you look at the films youll see that the top 3 or 4 inches can be seen above the actors shoulders (and at times the top bar of the alice frame is level with the top of the powercell box! Just look at Egon at the end of GB2!).
I was inspired by your pack sitting on the gravel. Looks great, so I’m dedicating this song to it.
