well im making a fanfilm and im testing out some cgi ghosts that i want to put into the movie so here:

not bad considering im only 16 and have close to no cgi or special effect experience.

what program are you using? depending on what your using, you may want to check out http://highend3d.com for some tutorials on some of the major 3d animation programs. keep up the good work and keep us updated
im using anim8or. its a free program i found that works well once you get the hang of it.

Actually what you have there is a disembodied phantasam, class one (non-hostile, but menacing). LOL…but seriously. That’s really good. Is that a screenshot from your film or just a random image? If it is from the film, how did you manage to litter a road with broken glass and not get arrested? Keep up the good work!!!
honestly, it looks great for what it is. My suggestion- make it more see-through. Right now it looks too opaque, and you should probably add some color changes to the creature as well. there’s no such thing as solid color in reality.

There is another free cgi programe called Blender ttp://www.blender.org It might work better then Anim8or
You might try finding a dedicated anim8or or blender help site if no one around here knows the answer to your questions.
tutorial wise blender will have tones… not a great program but for a free one not bad… i had a dable in it before to review it… It can be challenging for organic creations… most of the best things i’ve seen blender wise have been starships…
