My ECTO 1A Model with few Custom made items

While I bought two AMT Ecto 1A model kits off ebay.. I put the first one together to see how it looked.. My second one I do with be more in depth and Have Flashing LED Lights and custom made LED lit up Billboard.. Im also thinking of getting one more kit and doing a retro design.. RED body with White tail fins…

But for now heres the first one I did..

CUSTOM STROBE LIGHTBAR… I did not like the way the Whelen Edge bar looks.. So I added color film to give it the appearance of having actual colored filter look..

CUSTOME ROTATOR LIGHTBARS… I also used the same color film to make Colored rotator filters. Instead of paint it give the illusion of an actual Code 3 Lightbar..

CUSTOM GRILL LIGHT… The Yellow flashing light shown on the driver side is actually a Dash Light mounted on the bumber..

So I added my custom version of it..

Final thing I do to all my models.. But No photograph is Taking Sandpaper to the tires to give them that worn tread look.. Really makes a difference in detail…

thats funny, in that screen shot the wip antenna i guess isnt secure and looks like its gonna smack someone in the face.

Dan Aykroyd’s very own handywork there. Whenever we whip around corners at unsafe velocities in the Magnum we call it “Aykroyding.”

I thought I posted in this thread already, but I guess I didn’t. The work on this model is absolutely spectacular! Goddamn wonderful.
