Hi all,

while I’m in the final phase of building my pack, I decided to have a crack at my Ecto Goggles. This is what I bought off the shelf…

…and this it what the goggles look like now -

I decided to go for the matt black paint job, after having trouble tracking down a suitable green. I still need to do a bit of weathering but they’re pretty much finished.

Any comments/thoughts welcomed…

Yes, very well done. I like how you utilized the stickers 8) And I love the flat black! Are you going to put an LED on them? In between the eyes?

thanks, yeh I had some spare stickers and so I thought I’d put them to good use. As for leds, I’m unsure at this stage whether to add one or not.

What kind of parts did you use to build them ?

Cheers…

I used pvc tubing/plumbing parts and some strips of funky foam. I’m still considering putting a small led in there somwhere for visual effect.

U really inspired me so i bought parts from Homedepot ot make mine kinda like urs…i called them the Ecto 1000’s, they are goin to be in my fan film kinda like the replacemtns of the originals. Im goin to have both pairs in there. thanks again
