I finally stopped debating and decided to start making a pack. I’m at a standstill with my uniform until the elbow pads, boots, and leg hose parts come in, so I needed something to fill my need to work on something. I was trying to find an LC1 frame but none of the military surplus stores had any. I bought 2 LC2 frames and got to work.
I drilled out the rivets and cut the frame down to make the cross bar flush with the frame. A few new rivets and 3 coats of satin black paint, and here’s what it looks like.
A friend of mine owns a race shop and hooked me up with a piece of 1/4" thick aluminum. I’m working on cutting out the size I need to make the motherboard.
