My first ProtonPack

Hello everyone,

Let’s get started,

i’m gonna post the progres of building my protonpack wright here.

it will be a complete 3d-printed model and not entirely screen accurate (not with the beautifull original bits and pieces).

Motherboard will be plywood and not aloy. depends on how good it will turn out, i can always change that…

I’m using the files from DancinFool82 @ Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1128019)

This is how far i am at the moment (not have pictures of the loose parts).

All parts printed and glued together, went over with some sandpaper.

Next step will be, priming, filling, sanding, filling, sanding, filling,… (you get the idea)

stay tuned.

I did a wood motherboard my first time, if flexed pretty bad, real flimsy. If you have to buy material and have to cut it out anyways might think about going the next step to aluminum. I think I picked up a sheet for only $20-30. It’s a little more effort to cut out, but it’s the back bone of your pack. Not about the accuracy, just everything is attached to it.

Ok, thanks for the reply…

i’ll go for the alu motherboard… as a fact, i just ordered one
