Ok, I have had some time work on my packs and try my luck at a trap, so before I begin with the updated pics for my pack, let me introduce you to myu most embarassing creation from last year…the ghost trap
Now I have to say that last year I was proud of it, especially since it was a 1 day job build and 3 hour paint job. But this year, Malcolm Plans on hitting Vegas for Halloween so I thought, What the hell, lets build up a new trap and make the old one look like the step child I never wanted…so, without futher delay…Ghost Trap Version 2
And for an added feature, just cause I could…
Thats right ladies and Gents, it comes in 2 different parts. The ingenious part is it’s only being held together by velcro. The doors don’t open, but when it’s painted it will look mighty fine if you ask me.
That’s freaking sweet! How long did it take you to put it together? I’m working on a pack for halloween so I doubt I’ll have time to put a nice one together, but I will make a quickie one like your first trap which by the way still looks cool. Man you can’t put a price on experience, the more you practice the better you get. Nice job, keep it up.
Thank you very much Juan. your right, you can’t put a price on experience. As far as the time it took me, with working mad OT and spending time with the wife…I would have to estimate it was a 3 week project for assembly. Course, it also just sat there for a week before I got off my lazy but and started painting it. As far as the first trap…I really should put a side by saide comparison of the 2, just to show how off I was the first time. It’s like my first pack in my other progress thread, it was way off, but got the point across. Both the latest pack and this trap will cap off what has been a great journey of prop building…till next year that is MAUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
someone resurrected my old trap post?!?! lol thanks again CAZAFANTASMA. The best advise I can give anyone is just take your time on these projects. Patience is what made this trap possible
