I’ve seen the yellow one, or at least one very similar, under the hood of my dad’s old Datsun.
My pack is missing the alice frame ,3/4 hosing and the blue hose from the PPD to the Dale but other than that its done..
i tried to copy nicks weathering as much as possible from the trap i got from him… it was probably the best part of building the pack… EVEN better than putting the stickers on
looks great! love the weathering!
only thing i would suggest is to pull the ribbon cable a bit tighter. it looks a bit long and so stick out past the PPD and injector tubes a bit too far. chop a few inches off it so its dosent stick out so far.
apart from that, great job! :crunch:
green transparent hose is being changed next week
still missin my blue hose for PPD , alice frame and 3/4 hosing.. but im pretty much there
and ill be cutting back my ribbon cable and setting it in the proper position as nick mentioned to me ![]()
Badarse!!!
EDIT: The green transparent hose looks pretty cool actually…
what did you use for the cyclo lens
your pack and gun look great!!!
cyclo lens and Power cell lens are cheap peices of clear plastic that were colored in by sharpie markers..
i was tryin to cut corners on cost as much as possible in the end.. because spending $5 on some colored plexiglass dosent make sense to me …
Except for attaching the ribbon cable to the Mobo.. This thing is done, minus the lights and sound. If I can finish that for halloween, great. if not.. theres always next year.
Im really happy about the way this pack came out. I cant thank Slimer7 enough for selling me one of his masterpeice shells and for the help especially from Nick-a-Tron too.
I came to this site with an urge to have GB gear, and only a few months later it was a reality because of the strong awesome community thats here, and the wealth of information that came with it.
I can roughly take an educated guess that there are around 3,000 or so completed proton packs worldwide, and triple that uncompleted ones.. but millions of ghostbusters fans.. so im proud to be one of those 3,000 or so..
