this pack is being made following Stefan’s plans, and was somewhat inspired by the junk pack someone did (the one who took stuff from dollar general, advance auto, and wal mart, sorry that I dont recall ur name!)
after we painted the motherboard/styrofoam, when we’re planning the place of everything

the powercell

after we got everything painted, working on attaching the ribbon cable

and the now just-about completed pack (before we put all the warning signs on it)

i know in the films there was only one bar for the powercell, but i left both of the lights of the kit on there for 2 reasons:
1.)my parents and i were worried that if we cut one off, it would screw with the remaining bar. and
2.) to kinda make it personalized. and hell, it still looks cool!
and also the silver thing in the middle of the cyclotron: we figured the thing of washers was too heavy and would break off the brace thingy. so we resorted to an oil cap.
again, still looks great.
we’re also going to start making it look like it’s been thru some serious 'bustings, doing the gray (or silver) paint giving it signs of wear. any tips for that, or anything else, will be appreciated.
i plan on working on the gun when I go home for Thanksgiving. i figure that 4 and a half days will be plenty to get this puppy finished.
