Well, it’s finally starting to take shape but still many more weeks in the workshop yet! Not having much of a chance lately because of the weather, leaving the workshop freezing!!
I painted the red areas in purely for showing a friend where the holes should be cut through the metal (he’s a metal worker and has got the right tools for the job) The washers aren’t secured down yet. In fact, nothing is secured down yet as I may have to cut another motherboard due to my measurements being slightly off.
I managed to get hold of an ALICE frame and straps but it was in the desert cam scheme, so I’ve repainted the frame and will be ordering some Olive Drab straps soon.
This is the most ambitious prop I’ve built to date and look forward to completing it. I’m truly inspired by all the great packs I see on here.
