so heres some pics of my uniform and circuit belt thingy:
i decided to go with a clear piss tube because in some scenes in gb2 they were clear, so it was less work. plus i have no idea about how to successfully dye a vinyl hose. i got the circuit boards out of an old hard drive and glued christmas light bulbs to the top. the small circuit was a bitch. i tried to epoxy it to the key ring, but as soon as the leather flexed it came off, so i just used a zip tie. i don’t really like that approach, but with out some kind of rivitng tool, i dont know what else to do. i got my elbow pads from dicks. they are just nike pads, nowhere near screen-accurate, but they’ll do for now. i used a 3/4" flex connector for the piss tube connector, i think it looks pretty good. anyhow, thoughts?
Looks pretty good. What did you make your circuit board thing out of? I still have yet to get a uniform for myself 
haha I never noticed in GB2 that at times they were clear. haha I just watched it today too and nothing

Nice. One question. Where do you guys get that cable that goes on the belt gizmo? It always reminded me of the cord on certain phones…
yup, you got it. old phone cord.
While a phone cord makes a really good substitute, the originals look more like the cord from a CB radio.
i think any 1/4" cable would work, such as a guitar or old school headphone cable. how did you notice the ‘roundness’ of the originals? i never really could tell…
i will also say that i think a 1/4" cable would be easier to deal with because everytime i soldered that phone wire to the circuit board it broke offf after a bit of swinging. it’s too thin of a wire. i even wrapped all four leads together and it still broke! so a bigger lead would be better.
