By “dyed” I got a bucket. Filled it with boiling water, put about 1 tablespoon of regular cheap black acrylic paint in there. dropped in the belt/pad, swished it around for 30 seconds then removed and let dry. Didn’t expect that to work to be honest!
LOL acrylic paint? wow. I did not think as i was reading that sentence that it would have been the brightest idea but it looks alright to me so good job there buddy!
You are def on your way.. why did you go with a movie name? did you prefer to be someone from the actual movie instead of your own persona in the GB world? just wondering because I dont see a lot of the “Stanz” “Zed” tags much anymore.. or mabye im just not looking in the right places..

Haha! Yeah the acrylic thing was a surprise but I’ve since read about other people doing that before me as a total cheapskate way of dying the pads/belt (me being a cheapskate…that’s why I did it ;))
As for the tag. Well, I did order a custom one from Katara at the same time as my Stantz tag. My custom one is actually inside the chest pocket of my flightsuit, but Stantz is my fave Ghostbuster…That’s all really!
Everything looks top notch! One idea I’ll throw out there for you and you do with it what you will… On your elbow pads it looks like the color didn’t take to well in the creases of the bubbles, if you take a black sharpie or some other kind of black or dark grey marker and do one or 2 pulls with it along those creases it will get rid of the little bit of white and actually adds some good definition to the pads! Like I said just an idea and by no means nessecary, as those pads came out killer as is.
i dont understand why more people wont use their own names on the name patches…its like a giant pet peeve of mine
Yeah im with you on that.. I mean it is really up to the person who ends up wearing it but wearing your own name does give some custom part to the flightsuit
yeah it just makes sense… unless any of you out there are the spitting image of one of the guys 
Or if you say you are a distant relative, but even then you should somewhat look like the character in some way.

Looks great! Almost identical to my suit, I went with Stantz too because he’s my favorite. I usually wear the suit for halloween..you know..when you dress up as somebody else. I plan on getting a custom to wear around, though.
I’ll just leave that here…you guys really shouldn’t let stuff like this get to you!
