Hello everyone, I know all about the name tags on the Ghostbuster uniforms down to the size…but again, here in metro Detroit I am unable to find a place where I can get it .
I’ve been trying embroidery shops and looked online and have come up with nothing. If anyone could help point me in a better direction I’d be appreciative.
Alright, so I also am having major problems figuring this out, and I’m guessing since halloween is monday, your wanting it done NOW right?
Ok, well I couldn’t find anything at the places it sounds like you’ve looked, SO I came to this conclusion.
Note: this is not good looking, but it passes as a last minute thing.
I had some extra sticky printing paper from my girlfreinds scrapbooking ■■■■ (I think she got it at office max, shouldn’t be TOO hard to find) I’m getting on my paint program and making a nametag the size of an actual tag then printing it on the sticky paper, and throwing it on my uniform, I know it won’t look GREAT, but I can’t FIND anything else…
Hope this helps, I know how hard it is to find this stuff. cough leather trap holster cough cough
I was wondering…does anyone know if all the nametags are the same size? I thought they were, as in “Stantz” would be just as tall and long in demensions as “Zeddemore” in the movies. On the paranomal site they all look like different sizes, so I thought I’d bring it up.
This post is from LAST YEAR…nonetheless, custom ones are offered all over the place. Ive gotten mine from both TK from this site and also Katarra8 from ebay. I think Joseph K even does custom ones as well.
it is from last year and i know that but i didnt want to start a new thread with the same title and have someone say “this has already been discussed” and past this same thread. But all the ones that are custom nametags are all in the style of the first movie I never see any from the 2nd and was seeing if anyone knew why that is or if there is someone who makes 'em like the 2nd films
Yeah, my bad. It was good you did that because for some reason people get ■■■■■■ when you start a new thread about old stuff. Anyway, the answer your question.. The only place I know of that advertises as selling GB2 patches is…
Down the page about half way he advertises custome GB2 stlye name tags. Id place my order ASAP if you need it for halloween. I hear he gets backed up and sometimes orders take awhile but I hear he does the best work around.
that was the first place I looked…it says on the site he doesn’t do custom tags in the 2nd style “2nd Film Version Name tags Sorry, no custom names in this version” its in smaller print…I can make one in photoshop and make an iron-on version but the flight suit I bought (thanks to ebay for 13.99) has a velcroable area for it so unless I want it on the wrong side I’m kinda being forced into style 1…
I had the velcro thing on my costume as well. I just got a knife and cut the threads and then used fabric glue to glue on my patch. Hrmm…yeah, looks like your stuck. I really cant think of anyone else that makes GB2 tags.
thats whats good about sites like this, if I don’t know and you don’t know hopefully someone else will and if not then I guess I’ll have to be a little less accurate than I was planning or of course buy a Stanz tag (the girls I went to this halloween party with told me I look like Ray)
In downtown orlando every year they shut down the streets and have a big street party. I went as a GB last year and a lot of people liked my costume and I have my last name on my suit. Its a long, italian last name and a couple peope came up to and asked what it said. Then one drunk kid was like saying how I should have used a Venkman and started saying how I ruined the costume by putting my own name on it. However, I choose to make my tag custom because it lets people know I made it. However, there are time Id rather just use a regular GB name so people will stop trying to pronounce my name or ask what it says, or atleast have a shorter last name thats easier to pronounce.
Heh, I hear ya. I’m in Charleston and went this big Halloween party called “The Exotic Erotic Halloween Ball” at The Plex with live bands the Pussycat Dolls were headlining and I was the only Ghostbuster there (that I saw anyhow) so I got a lot of pics taken of me and compliments on my suit but it was that Rubies costume (minus the pack, I wore a painted RGB one instead) that had the logo where the name should’ve been. This year I wanna do it right.
