So, I recently completed printing out the slime blower attachment from the video game for my proton pack (pics to come later if wanted/needed) made by Ghostbusters Gear on Patreon. I ran into a SLIGHT problem with the nylon tubing I used… in that I have NO IDEA how to color it to a translucent green for the slime effect…
I dyed my yellow hose some years back that was originally clear using yellow RIT dye that you get at Wal-Mart…10 years later and it is still yellow. I’m assuming it would be the same using the green RIT dye on a clear hose. I think I followed the directions and boiled the hose in a pot with the dye mixture. There might be some newer improved tricks not sure. Hope that helps man.
If you do that, be sure you get the Rit Dyemore type, which is specifically for synthetic materials.
