Well, being the noob that I am, I bought a Bob shell on Ebay without knowing his stuff is ■■■■. Ive already paid for the shell, but he hasn’t shipped it yet. Any advice for how I can get my money back before He ships it?
Paypal dispute is the fastest and easiest way, but I’m sure there are other ways to do it; unfortunately I can’t seem to think of any others off the top of my head.
Ask for a refund claiming it was a mistake and take the negative hit on your eBay account I guess. If he refuses to give the money back then open up a Paypal dispute.
eBay’s buyer protection pretty much makes you in control of everything. There is nothing the seller can do, if you want a refund then ask for one, or open a case. 98.99% of the time eBay will decide in buyer favour

I would open an eBay dispute explaining that the item is counterfeit.
Paypal disputes are almost always in favour of the buyer. A true story…
A friend of mine who has a website sold something to a guy, who opened a dispute saying it hadn’t arrived. It annoyed him a bit since the buyer didn’t bother to contact him first, but as stuff doesn go missing in the post, he took it as a loss and moved on.
The same thing happened not long after with the same guy, suspicious that it is only this one person ‘not getting his mail’. He tried to fight the dispute but lost.
The same guy then put through a pretty large order, think it was around £150 if I remember right. Now me personally would have sent the money back and told him to (well you get the idea). but since he needed the cash he took the order and decided to send it UPS, that way nothing could go wrong. The guy filed a dispute saying the box was empty. So he had proof of delivery, but it wasn;t enough and lost out for a third time. He obviously doesn’t take orders from him anymore.
This customer was just ripping my mate off, and it was so easy to do. By the way, I;m not saying you should go around doing the same thing, but don’t be afraid of opening a dispute if you bought this pack shell and it is a load of ■■■■! you will win your money back.
I can’t thank this site enough for the infomormation about this shell, whilst my Pack Plans were put on hold due to financial trouble, I was looking at this one and was close to buying (maybe becoming skint actually saved me in the end!).

I am very sorry you fell a ■■■■ to his attempts to spread like a disease into other prop hobbies. BTTF wasn’t enough for him I guess and have heard of him pulling his normal tricks with other members as well. There has got to be a way to inform ebay that what he is doing is selling stolen property “in a sense” and does with other parts as well. You always gotta use the big words that get their legal team a little nervous like theft, illegal, fraud. Good luck!
