Hey guys,
Im going to the NEW YORK COMIC-CON 2012 in October and need to be completly ready but i dont have the pack built yet to 100% accuracy and need lots of tips on getting things done in a 3 month period. Any tips on this!
well whats ur progress status now? what areas specifically do u need help in?
Well the areas are mainly the accessories or wires and ad ons but i dont want to rush otherwise ill end up having the parts fall off the pack and its going to not look ok.
You really need to be more specific as to what you’re asking if you want help. Given what you’ve said so far all we can say is “buy the correct parts and put them on a pack shell”. What parts are you haveing problems with? Is it deciding what versions of parts to go with, finding them, or attaching them?
the area i need it in is mostly the parts on the pack you know the main details
Uhm … maybe post a pic of where your at? Or look through the reference section, its there when you need it. And 3 months? That’s way more than enough time.
Just saying “I need help with all the main details on the pack” sounds lazy to me. It sounds like “im too lazy to do research myself and I want you to do it for me and tell me all the parts I need”. Its 3 months away, that’s more than enough time to search the forums, look at the reference section, look at other peoples builds. A proton pack isn’t that hard to build. I know its prob a little difficult to build if your new to it all, but that’s why all the help sections are there.
I know you may be thinking “well hey, I need help, why not help me!?!??!”
What me and many others will tell you is, search other build threads and such. That’s why the search feature is there. Many others have came before you and have probably already asked the same questions so maybe your questions have already been answered.
I could see if maybe you said "hey guys, I got “this” part and I want to know if it would look better on my pack than “this” part versus coming out and saying "I need help with all the main parts, you know, the main details "; because as far as a proton pack goes, all the parts are main details.

^ I second that. But also a couple photos will help. Do your self a divorce and get a photobucket account. Upload the pics there and paste the img code in to this thread in your next post. I think you’ll find that strangely enough there are many people on this site willing to offer you advice at all times of the day as long as the question is explained well enough.
I look forward to seeing some photos and offering any advice that I might have to help you.

Mr. Proton66, there isn’t an instruction manual for the pack. Browse this forum and take a look at the great build threads. If you are asking for help, please be specific.
Read, read and than read some more the stickies in the Proton Pack sub forum. There is TONS of information there.
In that case, my advice would be to totally just finish up the main details, you know, the parts in the areas you need it in the most.
Lol. What he said. I definitely wouldn’t overlook any of the main details. You might get away with fudging some of the secondary ones to be comic con ready. It’s a judgment call, really.
