Need help from the community on a flight suit

have a PKE clip on holster from ebay. not happy with it but I didn’t want to have to buy another… although the ones momeraths24 has are tempting.

I am getting the trap holder from him & probably belt gizmo holster too once I find one or DARE try to build my own.

i have an original MT500 holster with radio (thanks spongeface).

fobs will either be from this site or momeraths24.

lastly, my sound lever meter came with a leather pouch that I cut some slits in the back & tried strengthening with some foamboard to make it more sturdy & save the $40 for a new holster.

that’s probably gonna be about all. not doing a lifegard or a Neutrona holder. will just return it to the pack (once I have it)

goggles will stay on my head.

For my belt I was just going to buy two from the store and put them together. Figured that would be the best, do not think they make one that would fix me on its own. If you find one that fits let me know.

In the IDW comics, Peter and Kylie always sport the dark flightsuit with GB1 No Ghosts patch…

According to the store, the black belt goes up to 58 inches which is big enough for me. The khaki would have to be two put together but if I use the dark suit, I’m going to use the dark belt. I will try it and let you know though.

I did not have time to look up the website. But I took some pictures of what I used before I left for work this morning. One of the pictures had the light on and one with it off. I was trying to show you the color correctly.

I would advise the tan belt for the tan(ish) GB1suit and the black belt for the Gray(ish) GB2 suit. This is a pretty standard As for the measurements of the black belt, 3" is the accurate measurement. If you use a commercial 2 1/2 -2 3/4 black utility/duty no one will call you out on it. Since you’ve already looked at the store, I’d go with AJs black belt.

ok, its me, the pain in the butt again. thanks to robandliv I was able to find that suit/coveralls in my size. they are so reasonably priced I am thinking of getting one khaki & one navy. thoughts on the navy? good or no good? also, in your opinion will these coveralls be acceptable as part of a GB uniform? I like them, but always value other’s input. thanks !!

im new here fan for years and since imet the gb dutch division on dutch comic con i would also like a uniform to start with>

now i see we got kaki flight suits in the shop but im unsure what size i should pick i mean xxl or xxl long whats the diverence?

and how do i accurately measure myself so i know what to pick, sorry for the noob question :slight_smile: and feel a bit dumb here but any help would be welcome.

i dont want to get a suit that i say have to ship back because it wont fit ok.

and the patches also can be bought i see any tips are welcome

Any suit will do… in my eyes, if you carry the love, the passion and the logo with you, you’re a Ghostbuster…

In all honesty, how close to accurate you get will depend on how close you want it to be… a lot of us who wear the readily available Nomex Flyers Flightsuits keep the zippers black… is it screen accurate? Nope… How about noticeable? Only if you’re paying attention… However, there are some people who go out of their way to take a sheet of sandpaper and they sand down the black zippers down to the bare metal to get that brass look… Nothing wrong with that, but it’s an extra amount of effort that they want to put forth into it, and that’s great, but nobody should fault you for not doing it… Again, it’s really up to you… If you want to wear Navy Blue, why not? I honestly hate it when a franchise would shun somebody away for not being “accurate”… This is all about fun and the love of the hobby and our fandom… The only person you should be trying to please is yourself! Happy 'Busting, and maybe we will meet one day at the Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade! :slight_smile:

I certainly hope to see you there as well. South Boston is one of my old stomping grounds so I know the area quite well. I think I’m going to go for it and buy the two jumpsuits and hope I don’t get laughed at LOL. Thanks once again and I hope I haven’t been a pain :slight_smile:

When I was up in MA for this year’s parade, there were a few of them in Navy Blue… and they looked just fine… :wink:

Hello all. Just an update. I have purchased two flight suits, one khaki and one navy. They are actually coveralls but I think they are fine. They are the same brand as the one robandliv posted. Looked good to me so we will see. Also have pistol belts and patches on the way. I’ll post some pics of the completed jumpsuits. Hope you all like them!

Yes. Sort of.

I have what I like to think of as a Ghostbusters’ Greatest Hits belt. I have the black belt that AJ sells here in the store. I have GB1 fobs made by Tyger Cheex and a MT500 holster from Franchesky, oh and a Lifeguard II and they all fit on the belt just fine. I had to slightly enlarge the openings in the radio holster but only by about 1/8". You have to partially disassemble the belt to get the radio holster on but it was no big problem.
