my questions are is this acceptable and what’s a better color? black or navy? unfortunately, the khaki doesn’t come in my size.
also, which pistol belt would be best? gray or black? i think most of my holsters will only fit the gray, unless they are the same size? I’m not really sure as i have not ordered the belt yet, wanted to get the right kind to match the flight suit. any help is always appreciated! thanks!
What size are you looking for? I’m sure you can find Rothco suits elsewhere in other sizes. The khaki would be the best but you may want to dye it closer to the proper colour because the khaki can look very yellow.

I was leaning toward the black, since to me, it looks closer to the GB2 uniform, and therefore more authentic, but I wanted some second opinions as I know colors can vary. if you think blue is acceptable, I will definitely consider it more. ill be using a GB1 patch as I don’t really like the second logo. hope that wont look stupid LOL.
If you wanted, you could always dye either the blue or the black closer to the charcoal greyish/blueish. Phil has done a turspec black, and I’ve done a truespec blue, but I believe there is a thread about rothco. Let me check.
What about coveralls? That is what I use. I bought 5x khaki coveralls last year. The zipers are in the right place and they work. At work now, will check the brand and see if I can figure out where online I got them last year.
The 2 most important things are how it fits you and what you think of it. If its fits poorly but is 100% accurate, no good. I’d rather something fit right than be exact. Make you happy first and foremost.
I agree! the 5XL looks like it’ll fit by the sizing chart. if i cant find the khaki, then ill probably go with black as it looks good to me, but the GB2 uniform isn’t straight black or blue, so that’s my dilemma. I just don’t want to look foolish in front of my fellow Busters !
just read that thread. very interesting. seems like a bit of work but maybe the way to go. do you think it would look ok with the GB1 patch? not crazy about the GB2 logo.
I’ve seen people with the dark GB2 suits but with the original patch and I think it looks fine.
I’d go with the black belt from the GBFans store if you are thinking of the dark suit.
(Also just so you are aware, it is against the rules to post links to active ebay auctions on the site. Plus, be careful when buying GB stuff on ebay. There are a lot of people on here that have been taken, myself included, when you are new and don’t necessarily know what to look out for.)

I was unaware of that rule, thanks for the info. that particular item wasn’t listed as GB stuff, just a pistol belt, but I know what you’re talking about. there was a guy selling MT-500s for $20 & then went to $50 when he realized the connection to Ghostbusters.
will the MT500, PKE, Trap holsters & fobs etc. fit the black belt AJ sells? there’s no specs on its thickness here on the site.
oh, and one thing since you definitely know your stuff, dark suit, with or without yellow hose? I know they didn’t wear it but its basically a mainstay of a GB uniform.
No hose on the dark suit. I really like the hose on the khaki suit, but as per cannon, no hose. Now if you want to have one, that’s totally up to you. I’d go with the clear hose on a dark suit.
I know someone will know the dimensions of the black belt, but I’m at work right now. Hopefully someone can chime in. What do you have for accessories already?
