So, we were all disappointed by Lootcrate, but as it turns out there are several Lootcrate-esque clones out there, some being better than others.
I recently found NerdBlock, which actually looks kind of awesome. They offer several different types of boxes to be sent to you, with varying types of merchandise inside–and if I’m not mistaken you get a free shirt in every single large box. They even have boxes for kids!
Today they revealed that a Ghostbusters themed item will be in their box this month. What it will be, of course, is a mystery so buy at your own risk.
Figured I’d let y’all know about it, just in case if anyone was interested. I like the HorrorBlock myself. Might get one.
Looks like a really cool concept… So it seems like these things are basically just a random assortment of pre-released merchandise then? I’m afraid to buy it and then have the thing be full of those childish looking figurines that seem to be all over the place now. Those things are retarded. Hopefully it’s something cool like a hot wheels ectomobile, stickers, cards, buttons, etc…
Let’s hope it’s not another horrible door knob hanger like what was in loot crate. It was a big disappointment plus not to mention that mine came bent.
they posted on their facebook it will be an exclusive vinyl figure. SO no door hanger.
It must be one of the figures Titan had while I was working for them as an intern.
Heads up, August from NerdBlock is going to feature another Ghostbusters exclusive item.
Cool. My sister was going to get the Horror Block although she had to back out. But she had to do too much to get her money back from them.
Sure the GB item from Loot Crate wasn’t that great but I really liked what I got for the 3 months I had and would go for it again next year.
It’s a wallet by the way. Pretty cool and exclusive to nerdblock.
