I think cadillacs are awesome cars, but would it kill them to make a more sleek front end..or just more sleek in general.
Not a fan of this one.
I like the front end of the caddy’s. It’s sleak but still with a hint of elegant, smooth but still hard. It shows the fact you get cushion but still get speed.
Maybe it’s just me but i just hate the front ends on them. I think they just kinda take the look of other GM cars ( like the impala and malibu) and make it…uglier with a nice engine and fancy interior. They just don’t scream classy to me like they should.
Back in the day Caddys WERE class but also appealed to everyone who wanted a kick ass car (awesome looks, killer engine, etc.) and could afford it . Now it just seems like their cars are made to appeal to “Old” people in the looks department but still trying to be appealing to the younger set with their engine and what not. But Hey thats just me.
If I had the choice of buying a brand new caddy (which start for around 30,000) or a vintage one, I’d go vintage any day of the week. At least when it comes to a cadillac, I think i’ll keep the 07 mazda for my daily driving…even when I finish my 59 Miller meteor.
Well I know what your saying, it’s not really a front end for everyone, however I can’t agree on your liking the other GM cars, eww. Only car I liked was the g8 and now that’s back to Australia with it. But if I had a choice of cadillac it would be both. An older 50s caddy with the drivetrain from the new cars. Then it would be my daily driver. But If I had the money it would actually be a mazda too, lol. 94 FD to be precise.
Honestly, I’d like to see some pictures of it in white. The old man maroon is just throwing me off. I think in white, it would look like a classy car’ worthy of an ecto conversion.

I don’t think it looks too bad.

you know, I can see that working as an Ecto… hell, you could even replace the Caddy emblem with a No Ghost logo =)
