Hey, whats up, worldwide GB fans! I’m new to the group here although I have been a bit of a lurker for a while. I’m a longtime GB fan. I remember when the first movie came out when I was in the first grade, and Ray Parker Jr was all over the radio. Then came the cartoon series, although once Lorenzo Music no longer did the voice for Venkman, I tuned out a bit. It just wasn’t the same without him.
I have a 3 year old son who is a drooling GB fan, and I’m having a blast watching the movie and sharing cartoon episodes with him.
My biggest reason for joining the group is because I’m in the beginning of making my own GB costume/uniform for Halloween, and beyond, just cuz it’s fun to do. I got a flight suit from an army surplus store, and some patches from ebay. I don’t know if I’ll have the time to put together a proton pack in less than a week, but I’d like to be able to have a really kickass one done before next Halloween.
I’m loving all the plans and pics of everyone’s uniforms and gear. Hopefully I’ll have some stuff to share in the next little while. Take care, and looking forward to sharing GB3 next summer!
