Has anyone made up their mind as to when they’re going to re-pre-order GB:TVG, I was thinking about doing it sometime after the Holidays, but maybe sooner. Oh, and if you already have, do they give you anything for doing so? :vinzclortho:
Nah I already reserved my copy for ps3 the moment they put it back up on their web site. They pretty much take you 5 bucks and say have a nice day and thanks for shopping game stop. But who knows at this point I mean before the game comes out they could be giving some kind of novelty or something when you pick you order up.

I went to game stop yesterday and asked about that preorder, and the girl said, that they still have me down for it. I thought it was strange considering it was cancelled and all. Oh well least I’m still on the list.
That girl must be new considering it’s under a different SKU, otherwise I would’ve had it still and not “NOT ON FILE - SKU DELETED” in my reserve list. Go back and tell her to fix it.
Good point, but it would still be nice to get something for all the time between when the game was announced back in 2007 and it’s original release date, and then til’ next year(almost 3 years). Thats a lot of time that we could have been spent fulfilling our childhood dreams! :angryvigo:

Rockstar, awesome on the trailer, but I gotta say - LAST TIME they said, “wait a few days - there’s an announcment coming any day now” it took two months. The trailer was cool, but I just can’t get sucked back into all this. Kinda sad.

I called my local gamestop, and they said that the $5 I put down on the LAst game should transfer over automatically. we’ll see…
Here’s where input from more hardcore gamers would be appreciated, however my thoughts: I’m going to wait and see what, if anything, is going to be offered if you pre-order. My question is, never having pre-ordered a game before - much less to get it on multiple systems, would the same item be offered no matter which system you pre-order for, or is it more likely to be something specific depending on which system.
I’m planning to get it on 360, Wii, and eventually DS (but the DS one can probably wait). If it’s the same offered item - I’ll pre-order the wii copy (that way I still get it the day it comes out and get the special item) but then go at midnight to wal-mart to pick up the 360 version so I can start playing asap. However, if it’s a different item for each system, then I’ll probably pre-order them all. (Guess I could wait the 9 or 10 hours until gamestop opens).
I guess I’m not a hardcore gamer that needs to pre-order every copy on every title - are you honestly going to play two or three versions of the game at midnight the day of release?
Troy’s plans for buying the Ghostbusters game - waking up at 5, hitting the gym, going to work all day, driving to Target at night, buying the game, going home, drinking a beer and playing for an hour, passing out from exhaustion… don’t see any reason to stress out about pre-ordering the game. There’ll be plenty of copies in plentiful supply.
I’ll probably only pick up the PS3 version on release date, then wait to grab the Wii version when it comes down to a $20 price point.
