New guy fron NYC

Hi everyone! I have been looking at this site for a while and finally decided to join when i really started reading how helpful everyone is and how much of a sense of community there is here between people who have a love for a common thing!

I am currently living in New York City. Needless to say when i moved here I made my pilgrimages to all of the filming sites, and even went into the firehouse to take a picture with the Ghostbusters 2 sign they have inside.

I am currently looking into trying to build a proton pack. I live in a Manhattan apartment so i don’t exactly have a ton of space to work with wood or power tools so i am looking into an economical way to build a pack without needing my own personal workshop. We’ll see if this is possible. Any suggestions let me know please!

So far the only thing stopping me from building my pack is the months its going to take me to cull through all of the info on this site to decide the best and easiest (for me) way to do things!

Thanks!

hi and welcome,

thats very cool that you’ve been to all the places, you should post some pics.

Anyway to help with you problem try cardboard. Not that ridged stuff but what food is packed in, that really thin stuff. There a few tutorials around here that can help you along

hoped that helped

welcome! Yes, building a pack can be a problem with limited space…
