**Holiday greetings to all Ghostbusters fans!

I am very happy to be here!

I just joined up with the Ghostbusters Hawaii Division and I’m anxious to begin building my own screen-accurate GB-1 “nuclear accelerator.” So please forgive ALL the noobie questions coming out of this corner of paradise for the next couple of months.

I am new to this type of prop building but not to props in general. I’ve been active with Star Wars stormtrooper props since 2006, I’m known in those circles as TE2. I’m a member of the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion.

I’m also known as “GUNS”, GUNNER, and HPDBLUES.

I retired from the USAF as a master sergeant in 1994 and for the last 18 years, I’ve been employed with the Honolulu Police Department. I am originally from the great state of California.

I have several costumes hanging in my closet: Stormtrooper, sandtrooper, Imperial officer black & olive drab and a 501st clonetrooper. I have an approved Luke Skywalker Dagobah/Bespin costume with a Luke ROTJ and Luke Red Five X-wing Pilot awaiting approval.

I’m excited to be here so if you know me please drop me a line, otherwise I’m sure I’ll meet you all along my journey to building my proton backpack. If you should see me stumble and fall please pick me up and point me in the right direction. I’m new and I don’t know where I’m going…LOL

Welcome aboard. It’s nice to see another LEO. I’m also HPD lol but in Maryland not Hawaii. This site has it all so if you can’t find it, just ask..

Can you assist a fellow LEO in finding a “legitimate” proton pack shell/motherboard fabricator?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

You really just have to bide your time on a shell. Just stalk the “for sale” section and also you may want to post in the wanted section. You actually just missed an alkaline shell for sale by about a week. As for the patch, I don’t collect but if you do I’ll get an extra one from my department if you want it. Good luck.
