Hi folks!
My name is Christian Tietz and I’m from Germany.
I’m a 28 years old psychology student and was a GB fan since I saw the first movie.
As a child I collected the GB audio books from the animated series and GB toys from Mattel which were also offered here in Europe, but I’ve ever thought that these weren’t as much fun as a realistic looking Proton Pack. About 3 years ago I started to browse the internet for some fan-made packs and I was amazed how they resembled the original ones.
Finally I got at this site too, and so here I am 
Now I’m looking for tips to create a pack by myself with a finished fiberglas shell and an aluminium mobo.
Especially Bigi71’s ones look very cool and they don’t seem expensive.
MMhhh… got to get on the waiting list ; )
And why I want such a pack? Well, I’m a cosplayer for about 6 years. My first costume was a Ghostbuster but it wasn’t really nice and detailled (we made the packs out of cardboard and parts of the bulky waste).
Now, I’ve finished my Jack Sparrow costume and nearly the one of the Joker from TDK (just the custom-made human hair wig is missing), so I want to get back to my old GB cosplay. A few hours ago I won the auction for a PKE from Mattel, but since I have a well-paid side job as a salesman in a sex shop I can afford some more GB props this month (my plan is to complete the costume with all necessary equipment till the end of this year).
I hope that I can collect some useful tips for purchasing or making those equipment parts, so at first I will search for advice in the regarding forum threads…
