Names Andre and I’ve always been a huge GB fan. Found out about this website by looking for a Ghostbuster ID card since I lost the one that I got back in the 80’s from the Ghostbusters cereal box. I live in Denver and I’m going to school to be a Veterinarian Tech. I just came back from this years comiccon in Denver and now really want to get my own proton pack and suit. If anyone in Denver can help or has info that would be awesome. Thanks
I had no clue you were local, thanks! I’ve seen some of the equipment but the only problem I have is that I am incredibly untalented when it comes to putting things together. Still doing some research on the pack/parts hopefully I can get something going soon
It can be an incredibly expensive hobby if you are going for movie accurate, but it doesn’t have to be. I’ve found that lots of members have started out as not very talented, only to find out that they have a hidden talent, such as painting, electronics, or even sculpting/casting.
The GBfans shop is a great place to get parts at a reasonable price with fast shipping. Also you should check out some of the pack build threads to help inspire or give you ideas.
Don’t be afraid to build a less than accurate pack as your first attempt. There is ALWAYS someone willing to buy it before Halloween if you decided you want tosee sell it and start over. This was true with my first pack.
