I am relatively new to the GB Fans site, and I only have enough time to check out the site here and there, but that doesn’t mean I am not interested in the site and what goes on here. So, if anyone replies to this, and it takes me a little time to get back, please forgive my delayed response in advance…
Anyway, my buddy and I are getting ready to dive into the project of building our own Ghostbusters outfits complete with particle throwers and proton packs that we want to build ourselves. While looking for direction on how we might go about building these things, we came across this site, so we decided to join up!
I think we have found a few pretty good resources for directions on how to build most of what we need, and now we are looking for materials. Does anyone have a good idea or thought regarding a specific type of wood or even a plastic we could buy that can be cut and shaped like wood to use for building our proton packs?
