There have been times when I have come to the site and not even seen that I have new messages. Is there any way to change the message link to red or something in the community section when you have new messages? It just blends in when it is black all the time.
hmmm not sure, maybe so. I know mine has it to where I get an email when I have new PM, there is a setting that a window can pop up when you have a new one, I’m not sure with pop up blockers and that sort of thing what happens there. I guess you can allow “gbfans” or something.
For anybody else who didn’t know that is, those settings can be changed under the user control panel! AJ should know otherwise if the text can be changed. That seems like it could stand out a little more of course I don’t get too many messages 
Yeah I get the email notifying me of a new message or friend request, but I dont always check my email before coming here.
Turning on the popup is probably the best way..
But recently I have been toying with a new kind of notifications up near the top of the forum.
