I thought I would write an introduction. I register a long time ago here on the board and kind of just read post and did not post much. I am 33 years old and live in Austin, TX. My wife, 2 year old son Luke and I moved here a year ago from my home town of Salina, KS. since there were more job opportunities here in TX.. I have been a member of many other forums for many years. Indygear, therpf, themoviepropforum and also springwoodslasher. I am a fan of a lot of different movies from my childhood. The original Star Wars trilogy, hence my Sons name! Indiana Jones, the Nightmare On Elm Street films and of course Ghostbusters and countless other scifi and horror films. I am a bass player, lead singer and magician and also do tech support and customer service jobs for different companies. The reason I have never posted before was the main thing I wanted was a proton pack and t always seemed to expensive and daunting to build since I am not a skilled modeller. But have finally decided to give it a try and get the entire costume together and perhaps join one of the franchises around here in TX or look at starting on here in Austin if the interest is there. I have loved Ghostbusters since I saw it in theaters as a very small child. And have followed the careers of Dan Akroyd, Bill Murry and Ernie Hudson. Mr Hudson was also in one of my other favirote films, The Crow. I have not gotten a chance to meet any of them but would love to one day meet one of them or all of them. I look forward to being an active member here in the forum and hope you do not get annoyed at all my stupid questions LOL! This seems like a great group of people!
