Hi Everyone,
Long time collector (25+ years) of TV and Movie die-cast cars, first time poster on GB Fans. I’ve been a lurker for quite a while and figured it’s time I registered and said “Hello”. I am a member of a lot of die-cast forums (The Diecast-Pub, Diecast Xchange, HobbyTalk, etc) under the handle “Motorhead”, but it seems every rendition of that was taken here so I went with Hollywood Diecast instead. I have been collecting TV and Movie car die-cast ever since I can remember. Cars have always been an interest and TV and Movie cars just seem to be the celebrities of the car world so I guess it makes sense, lol. I’ve always loved Ecto-1 (Ectomobile) ever since I first saw it on the big screen in 1984. I think I have pretty much every version of this car in die-cast to date including the awesome new Hot Wheels Elite 1/18. I did notice some members have made some very cool mod decals and parts available for these versions and guys, (slaysghosts and CaptCyan) I’ll be in touch soon, lol. Anyways, I don’t know what else anyone would like to know. You’ll probably find me in the Collectibles area of this forum the most as that is where my focus is. I’m kind of a low post count forum member as I normally only post when I can contribute something constructive, help someone out, help answer a question or pose my own, so don’t be surprised if my post count doesn’t climb very high. I will assure you I am not a robot, although, my wife says I’m more like a zombie once I sit in front of the computer, lol.
I look forward to getting to know this community better and contributing where I can.
