New here to the forums…kind of. I have been lurking in the shadows for about 2 years now, but decided to finally join the boards. I’m an afternoon jock for Northeast Pennsylvania Number one Country radio station Froggy 101. You may have seen our bumper sticker on the show The Office, not bragging, but that is the first thing people ask when they visit the station, or hear Froggy 101.
I love Ghostbusters, and every year I do local charity work for the station as a Ghostbuster. In fact this past weekend, I drove 2 hours to go buy the Mattel PKE meter for $75, from someone selling it on Craigslist. Every year I try to add to my Ghostbusters costume. I have a homemade Proton Pack, and while everyone always tells me it is amazing, I look at it, and know it is crap compared to the ones I have seen on here. So this year, I think I’m going to invest in a shell and really beef up my costume.
I may work in country, but I more into 80’s metal. Iron Maiden and pro wrestling are my passions in life. I know it sounds lame, but they go together so well and I some how relate to them. I know I’m not alone when I say one of the greatest escapes in the world, is working on props in a garage, basement, kitchen or wherever! For some reason I love to work on Ghostbusters props in the fall at night. The cold air from the garage, with a little heater keeping me warm, a six pack of Guinness, and some 80’s metal, and now were talking!
Really looking forward to the trap being released in October, in fact, next to football starting, that is about the only thing I’m really excited for. My girlfriends birthday is this weekend, and it’s killing me! I would rather be spending my money working on my costume, than saving it for this weekend! I guess there is always next week!
