New guy here. Long time historical reenactor recently begun working on prop building and movie costume repros. My first car was a 1980 white corolla station wagon that I had the GB logo stuck on to the annoyance of my parents. I miss that car.
As all newbies, I am currently working on my uniform and props which is what led me to this great site. I and a couple of other friends will be at Dragon Con this September staying at the Hilton. One of us, from WV, already has his GB1 kit done. My other friend and I are working on our kit, but may drift over to doing a GB Cleanup Crew kit for a little variety. The idea behind that is 'They Came, They Saw, They Kicked Ass, but we get to clean it up". I have a basic uniform with that theme in development along with specialized cleanup props and a Ecto clean up vechicle.
Anyway, I will post pics as that theme develops and as my regular uniform/kit comes together.
Any folks in VA give me shout.
