Were can i get get cheap ghostbuster patches for my uniform
I prefer CostumeCostumeCostume (say that 3 times fast!)
Scifipatch is pretty low quality.. not to mention they make a patch of my old screen name that I’m not fond of.
I got mine at Patchgeeks.com, don’t know if they’re the same kind that AJ is talking about, I didn’t think they were low quality though, in fact, I though the exact opposite, I’ve bought other patches from them as well, and I think they’re great.
Hey AJ, just a quick question, your old name wasn’t ECTOMAN, was it? I didn’t want to use a name patch that would associate me as a specific ghostbuster, and I found that one on Patchgeeks.com, couldn’t find any place that could make one up specificly for me, so that’s the one I went with. Hope I’m not stepping on any toes. :oops:

I would think the opposite, you have to figure that there are all sorts of people such as myself who are going out with your name patched on their flightsuits, you should be honored.

I purchased the same thing and received mine in about 2 days after payment. Then again, the seller and myself are both located in California.
That makes sense. I live in Florida, but they are the only ones with the patches. I paid same day and said Id pay extra for UPS or some other kind of fast delivery. Also, according to their feedback people recieved their merchandise pretty quick so I am not that worried about it. Thanks for the reply!
Katarra makes great name tags for the GB-1 uniforms. However, I don’t like their No-Ghost logos much, they just don’t look right to me.
I based my “no ghost” patch on a Katarra’s.
I got one and, looking for it, I detailed the “missing” parts of Katarra’s “no ghost” patch. This is why my no ghost looks a little better.

At left you see my patch. This is a scan from my “No Ghost” patch.
My patch is 100% embroidered (including ghost’s background white). Katarra’s isn’t! They use a white fabric and, if you see one, will see only the black and red embroidered areas.
I have a black outline. Katarra’s haven’t! The black outline makes the patch stronger and gives a much more professional look!

Which version do you need
to be accuarate to gb1, there is no black boarder around the patch. that is why i went with katarra. that and she does personalized name tapes at spec.

The black outline is a reinforcement to make the patch more durable.
Anyway, without it, the patch can loose some lines and present some fails.

I think the black makes it stand out more.. and the patches not having flaws is alwasy a must.. I do like the embroidered white also.. your patch looks real clean..and not sloppy..
I’d like to recommend TK’s patches. I originally had a Katarra8 no-ghost patch and nametag on my flightsuit. Had one for years, but I’ve replaced my no-ghost patch with TK’s, because in my opinion it’s better. I’m not disrespecting Kathy’s work, I just personally prefer TK’s patch. And he’s a really good bloke to deal with too. Nice guy!
