Northern Shenandoah Valley GB reporting in

First visual post here. Uniform done. Pack complete other than wiring and painting the motherboard. Need to start my thrower now.

Pardon the berks, I was in workshop mode before this photo was taken. Just mounted the pack to the Alice Frame and had to have my kids take some pics. Gotta say, wearing the pack rocks

what kind of alice straps are those? i ask because ive never seen shoulder straps with those black buckles on them like that.

Got no clue on the type of straps. I will be taking them off when I take all the straps off to paint the frame.

I got the pack frame with a bunch of parts I bought from another forum.

Although I love this pack, I am already seeing myself working toward a higher quality pack in the future.

This one will do for a while I believe.

It looks like newer Alice Pack straps. The US Military started to use straps with black buckles. The one that is just dangling is a sternum strap meant to go across the chest.

Nice looking uniform.

Don’t forget the leg hose and connector.

I’ve actually been considering taking mine off. They’re really a nuisance and kind of goofy looking. I’m not into 100% accuracy on all things.

If you don’t want to wear a uniform with a leg hose, I suggest getting a charcol Grey uniform. They didn’t have leg hoses, and its still screen accurate.

Uniforms looking good, though!

Right now I am not working toward complete SA, next time around maybe.

However, I am putting a hose connector and hose on the suit tomorrow (will post a pic).

Goldenhawk-I will be ready for Air and Scare in October.

Vincenzo-I was looking at your pack for sale and noticed the device where the injector tubes hoses entered the cyclotron. I like how that looked on that pack-do you remember what it was.

I am planning on posting a pack pick or two, but as it is a fiberglass build-nothing major talent wise coming out other than the painting and product placement (how many p’s can I use in one post).

I wore the pack around the neighborhood and had fun this evening.

Here are the new additions for the week:

Elbow pads, hose and connector, gloves, and boots (out of picture).

Two of our uniforms. The one on the right is for one of our trainees (let them clean up any mess left).

If you notice on the ECUC uniform there is an American Flag on the right side where the GB logo should be. The place that I had do the lettering on the back, mixed my coveralls up with another order. They not only put the flag on, but the embroidered some other dud’s name on the front. Major ■■■■ off. The got the name off the front, but I decided to keep the flag as I am fairly patriotic. That uniform has the logo on the other sleeve. Needless to say, I need to find another embroider.

Had an costume ball at a local hotel last evening. The George Washington supposedly has ghosts on the third and fifth floor. I went by to check it out and found no abnormal readings. I waived the bill for detection services in exchange for a pic with the president:

Having the trainees clean up after a job is a great idea (also good use for a junker suit); That should keep trainee tissue burning to a minimum…

I see you’ve been busy. I forgot to ask you where you got that clip-on banner with the messages.

Of course, NSVGB was hitting the streets this past weekend looking for paranormal encounters. Pleased to say that our small town was clear this evening. I even checked in with the local ‘Boys in Blue’ who did not report anything significant.
