If the ring is too small than its probably off by a few thousandths. Run some sandpaper through the ring and that should do it.

What’s the best method to keep the sanding even? roll up the sandpaper?
Thats what I did . Or use a dowel or something similar . . . Keep turning the triger tip as you go.
