Why? because back when i was in elementary school i was the only girl who admitted they liked GB and wasn’t afraid to show it.
I especially showed my love for gb when I wore an Egon costume for Halloween one year. The store bought plastic mask and vinyl costume and all..
I’ve been a fan for as long as I can remember. my fondest memory was the one Christmas where under half the tree as Ghostbusters and the other half was Care Bears for my sister. It is one of my favorite memories.
I’m really looking forward to the game coming out this fall.
I found gbfans when I was looking for ghostbuster info.
I’m sure there are lots of girls that are into Ghostbusters. I have a close female friend that I actually met on the ghostbusters.net forum a few years ago! We hang out whenever she’s in Sydney or if I’m down in Melbourne. Of course we don’t mention in public that we met on the Internet, lol.
I’m a girl too. Why is it so hard for people (mostly non-fans) to believe that little girls grow up wanting to be X-wing pilots, Jedi, Starfleet Captains, and Ghostbusters too? Why should the guys have all the fun?? :eyeroll:
It’s funny how your image of someone can be so much determined by someone’s avatar. When I see a picture of a guy, I naturally think it must be a guy; when I see a picture of a girl, I think the person who’s posting must be of the feminine persuasion
In that same vein, a couple of months ago, i posted a reply to a message by phantom50, thinking he was a girl (simply because of his avatar) and complimenting him on her looks (yeah, confusing, i’n’t it?). Oh well, even though misaddressed, I truly believe any compliment must be appreciated :-).
I do the same thing…once I get the outfits finished I’ll be posting a picture of ME, so it will be a woman in my avatar..for now, I posted a picture of Ray since my husband will be portraying Ray for Halloween. (I need a little lady ghost icon that I can make smooching Ray…uh, on the face. ;))
