Hey all. I thought that for the first time I would show you what we have been up to. We’ve been working on making a pack for quite a few years (about 6) so I thought it was time to finally make a build thread. Ill update it as we come along.
From right to left-
1.This is the first buck we used to make a mother mold. It got pretty beat up.
2.Here is the first mother mold. It really is no good. It is quite warped, and the hard mold around the rebound mold is all wonky.
3.The first fiberglass shell from that old mold. We knew it was going to be terrible, but we wanted to test the strength of fiberglass for ourselves. We decorated it for Halloween last year just for fun.
- The new buck that we are currently working on. This thing is gorgeous. Ill show you more up close pictures of it.

Here is a full body shot of the new buck. Sorry, I took it on instagram so it looks all stupid.
Here is a close up of the powercell-
Crank generator. You’ll notice the red paint. We are doing this to seal it and help with demolding. Also, we wanted to see what a fire truck red pack looked like.
Still gotta fill in underneath the N-filter.
The cyclotron area.
Here you can see where the booster tube/frame will go, the crank generator area, and gun mount block-
Same area, different angle, more fire truck red.
The four ALICE frames!
Our power source. Yes, of course we’re serious.
Now, we made a metal gun box for the neutrona wand years ago, but it was not very accurate. Yesterday my buddy Dave (johnnyace_pi on here) plasma cut and welded some new ones. (new one in the middle and the old one on the right)
A close up of one of the new ones.
A close up with a clippard valve attached. Only real clippard parts up in here.
On the left here you will see a quick disconnect. We decided that we are going to put this on the bottom of the pack and have this be where the loom connects. I think that will be pretty cool!
Four heat sinks.
Making sure the hole was cut right to fit the handle.
That shit is level.
And that’s all for now. More to come!
