not quite a hearse..

…but we needed a quick car for our movie that we could afford on a zero budget. I built all the roof rack gadgets from scratch in 2 days so we would be ready for the local magazine shoot tonight., and Dave Swartz provided the Jeep. image

And im hoping to get a set of GB and SCGB logo’s made for the doors. the jeep is actually my gf’s dads. it needs a little work, mainly a new power steering pump (leaking) but all in all its not bad. Plus, (bonus for us) Chip (gf’s dad) is all into this, he’s helping me build my pack, building me light circuits for the gun and pack lights, a better battery pack mounted to the MOBO for easier access, building a pull out rack for the hatch of the jeep so we can load and unload the packs easy, etc.

hopefully you guys like the Steel City Ecto.

we need volunteers to run in front of the ecto with a bedpan to catch the steering fluid. Any takers? : )

Without the logos right now people might think you’re stormchasers. Just hang the bedpan up with some coat hangers. It will be just like a grease catcher on a grill.

ha! Well, the door decals are on order, and I have to scrounge up some time for finishing touches. The Chief of Police saw us, and thought it looked cool. He’s helping us look for amber/white covers. : )

Do ya’ll have any new pics with the decals since this was done back in October?
