Not to often...

In fact probably pretty rare that you find one of these NEW (or at least it appears) and in the original outer box…

Thats nice I hope you got a deal on it. always fun getting new old things (if that makes any sense) and getting to play with them.

nice iona. where did u find

I believe that one came from Ebay, I have had it for awhile just never took a picture of it…

As for not paying to much only my first Iona, now I only pick them up when I find them cheap… Usually in the $5 - $20 range…

will u make molds or light kits?

Light kits yes, molds I really don’t see it being necessary right now…

Yes, I could mold the raw Iona but most people want a finished PKE mold not an Iona mold… And finishing up a PKE is just not in my schedule right now…

If there is truly and interest in raw Iona castings I am more then willing to do a run, but I would need probably 10 people @ $20 to simply break even on supplies and a little of my time…

Well then you could count me in if you ever did one!

If you decide to make this a serious offer for Iona shells, and 20 is the price, count me in for two.

Actually, nix my participation on this possible run. I just picked up an Iona off eBay. If anyone else was bidding on it, I apologize for the inconvenience. I didn’t see any threads about it, so I just took advantage of the opportunity.

I’ve just got a Iona (in the original box too, but the box isn’t as clean as yours) - same color too.

I’m going to be making molds, as I don’t want to destroy the lovely original Iona… so I guess I should gauge interest somewhere… I’ll probably post up a thread to do that (don’t want to hijack).

Mine I got from.. er.. Rose Mills or something like that.. a craft and collectibles website. Red, form 1966, and lovely. Even has the “5 year guarantee” sticker still on it.

I never find these things or end up just missing them on ebay. I def. have to keep my eyes peeled.

I should also say - the problem with giving measurements for the Iona is that it’s a very organic shape - lots of smooth curves and such. I could post a profile and plan scan of the case and give you some point measurements though… that might work.
