So with the future release of the Matty Ecto Goggles I was compelled to build my own so I have a set to wear when I go out in my gear and not feel too bad if something were to happen to them. Thanks to nicopelli and the fine craftsmanship of mikenelson1982 I am able to begin my build. So after sanding some areas and priming I put a coat of green on and there it begins…

Thanks! I sprayed that plate separately cuz I made a front plate that goes on the outside of the goggles. I was looking at reference photos and it seemed like it needed one. The part with the holes cut out goes on the inside of the frame. I’ll post more pictures to show what I’m talking about. kinda hard to describe.

AND I was able to score these awesome items from ebay. I figured adding the real hardware would be better than gluing on the resin bits:
Head strap added, hourglass knob secire. Just gotta put on the DOT snappers around the frame for the face cushion…

Thanks! I used krylon aluminium matte. Like 3 or 4 coats. Till it went one smooth.
