So has anyone tried to build proton packs from displaced aggression? the wild west one I rally like, any tips for a new-be. :garrett:
Someone did Ray’s midevil trap and there have been a few “steampunk” proton packs but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone try to make an exact replica.

my best advice to you is to look into light weight wood for the thing is going to be heavy if you dont and of course study the comic,check out some steampacks online to inspire you.
I know someone on the forum “brass goggles” was working on one as well. try to get a hold of him
Just re read DA the other night and thought how awesome it would be to see this pack done.
I don’t know about the light bulbs, it would be easy to blow one if tapped. I have been looking at steampunk for inspiration, and I like the mare’s leg as the gun part. You don’t see it much in the comic book…
There are a ton of good shots of the proton gun and a few decent shots of the pack in that comic. There’s a detailed close up of the gun on the cover.
Problem is, the gun on the cover and the gun in the comic are different.
