So, for about 10 years I’ve been wanting to have my trap stow on my pack, but for whatever reason, I never got around to it. The reason why I want to do this is two fold. 1) the trap holster I have on my belt is super uncomfortable when I sit and 2) I love how it looks in the cartoon.
I know it’s been done, but I can’t seem to find images of the packs.
You could mount dixie bracket on the powercell or some sort of mounting block that the bracket could sit on above the powercell that would allow it to sit flush against the powercell
Joe Luna did something like this with his rgb movie hybrid. Let me see if I have a saved photo.

yeah, that’s basically what I’m going for… just a full 84/89 pack with my wireless Matty trap. I’ll have to do some experimenting to see if I can reach it on the side of the powercell or if I’ll have to place it higher.
As for sitting, I just accept that I can’t sit with my belt on. My gizmo digs into my leg and I’ve had it tear the stitching on one of my suits on where the leg hose connector is. The best I can get is a half sit on the edge/lean on a tall chair. If we are going to go somewhere to eat or something, I keep a spare belt with nothing on it and just swap. I usually move the leg hose on it so I still have something, and the leg hose is easy to sit with.
