The GBFans Pack light kit comes with a 5th white LED for use as a vent light. Where do most people place this?
I saw a video of a pack with one above the booster, and another with the light on the crank generator. I’m not sure if there is a correct place to install the LED.

I think most people put it in the N filter so it shines out the N filter holes
Yep it goes in the N filter. It’s designed to have some light effect to match up with the sound effects for venting of the pack like in Ghostbusters video game. This is not accurate to the films, but I loved the overheating effect in the games so much I had to add it.
how far up do u put it into the n filter
That it up to you, but enough so you can’t see it. I put it in a reflector as well to boost brightness and light distribution. I got the reflector to sit perfectly within a chopped in half small paint roller which I wrapped in mesh. Then hot glued it high up inside the N filter. I also went with Spongeface’s upgrade lights which are amazingly more bright.
