Hi! Ok, i’ve found a seamstress willing to sew up a run of padded GB2 straps for us. The options are LC1 straps with upper and lower padding and LC2 with upper padding. The straps will have to be provided.
Would this be something that could be done on an singular order basis? I was planning on asking you about knowing a seamstress a week or so ago. I’d love to get my lc2’s padded but at the minute my pack is taking all my expendable money

I think Nick said that he’s gonna spend the next 3 weeks collecting straps for this run, I have no idea if this is going to be an ongoing thing.
In my advice, I would focus on getting these straps and pick up parts for your pack later, the pack parts are always available. These things may not be.
Yeah, like abaka said ill be leaving the run open for about 3 or 4 weeks so i can collect the straps and payments off everybody then hand over one big box to the seamstress. Im not sure if she’ll be able to do anymore on a singular basis so would be best to get in quick.
No, far from it. The murray hero, spengler hero, sony lobby hero and ray hero pack all had padded straps. Many of the packs straps were swapped out during filming so even the same packs can be seen with regular and padded straps throughout the film.
I think people need to watch the films or study the reference section. The two most well documented packs we have are the Spengler pack and the Stantz Semi Hero in the Sony lobby. Both of them clearly show the padded straps.
A two minute check of the HD reference screens stickied in the proton pack section would resolve this debate in two seconds.
Interestingly enough, the LC-1 straps on Ray’s Semi-Hero pack only have the main pads reinforced and not the lower pads.
I also noticed that Ray’s Hero pack, currently with the super straps, never actually appears in this configuration in any scenes in GB2. The pack as it is today is * technically* not screen-accurate…
