I finally got most of everything I need and I’m like a 5 year old on Christmas morning. I’ve never been big on “cosplaying,” and know that that word is like slander around here (lol), but I’ll be damned if this isn’t fun as hell to suit up like a true Ghostbuster. Note that these are just a few ■■■■■■■■ cell phone pics; my girlfriend has an actual DSLR and does photography, so when I make my public “debut” on Halloween, I’ll put up some crispier, full body photos for y’all:
I’m not really a stickler for accuracy, so I ordered a black Tru-Spec from Desert Deuce Surplus for $40 w/ shipping included. Shipping took a few days, but wasn’t a lengthy wait at all. My only gripes are the length of the sleeves, which is why I roll them up (plus it’s never truly cold here, which is why a summer uniform is already in the plans haha). I’m lanky as HELL and should have gotten a medium instead of a small, but other than that everything fits perfect. My body type is weird, tall , skinny, and lanky lol. God hit the random button on my ass.
ANYWAYS, the patch is from Katarra8, and her shipping and turn around time is top notch. I can’t recommend her services enough. I got my pistol belt and patch from right here at GB Fans. Shipping could have been a smidge faster, but hey, I wasn’t in a rush so it’s all good AJ! lol
I still need elbow pads and belt gizmos, but my main motivation behind this uniform was do it the way I’d wear it in 2010. Later on I will add a Khaki and Charcoal uniform to my line-up, but for right now, I’m loving what I have so far.
And trust me, with as many pockets as this thing has, I’m ready to pack a white glove with me so I can slap all the idiots I run into who ask me if I’m Winston. Bish, I’m PaqMan lol. :walterpeck:
