I’ve had a look but cant find any info on the size of the brass spacers on the front handle, and where I could find any in the uk?
I had a look at a couple of sellers in the UK, BenofKent and Ecto Props, but neither seem to stock the brass spacers. Unfortunately America is often still the best place to get parts due to the wider variety compared to what’s currently-offered in the UK market.
Would you happen to know the length and diameter of the spacers so I could have a look for possibly some brass tubing and cut it to size?
Or I could just stack some washers… but I’m worried that might look a bit ■■■■…

I believe ebay links aren’t allowed so I’ll pm you where I got mine from.
Look for brass clock bushings.
They are already cut to the correct thickness and diameter ( 4mm by 10mm) and have a pilot hole drilled in the center so you just have to drill it out in order to fit your bolts.

It’s not quiiite as wide as the actual brass spacer, but it’s the closest I can find for a reasonable price.
They’re more or less the same as I got.

Just go to a hardware store and buy #4 brass washers. It always looked like they stacked 3-4 of them on each screw.
Brass washers are seemingly a ■■■■■■ to find off the shelf in the UK! As for imperial sizes, not a chance unless you order from a specialist place online.
Yeah especially at the right diameter.
They all seem to be form A washers or huge penny washers which are both useless for this.
