A patch has now been released for GB:TVG on PS3 im not sure if its the same for xbox or not.
i dont know exactly what it has fixed but ill keep this thread updated as i find out .
Edit : the No job too big trophy has been fixed. each of the final 2 slimers appeared within minutes of each other on a campain map.

unfortunately it does not seem to have fixed any connectivity issues…maybe that will be in the next patch if any.
Okay now we just need the Xbox one!
I haven’t played today, but I loaded up the game after reading about the patch. My PS3 was downloading the patch as I left for work this morning… It apparently fixed not only the multiplayer issues, but also the resolution difference that was seen between the PS3 & XBox 360 versions that were apparent at launch. Huzzah! Now where’s skanker… I think I feel a group hug coming on…
Heres what was posted on a well known gaming news site regarding the patch …
The PS3 version of Ghostbusters was largely criticized for its inferior performance compared to the Xbox 360 version. Developer Terminal Reality told us, “The PS3 version … is softer due to the ‘quincunx’ antialiasing filter and the fact we render at about 75% the resolution of the 360 version.” 25% fewer pixels? Unacceptable!
Atari is promising to redress the differences between the two platforms with a new patch for the PS3 version which is supposedly available right now. According to the Atari press release, the patch will offer an “increase in resolution to match that of Xbox 360” while offering “numerous other localization fixes.”
Additionally, the Trophies for the game have been fixed. A glitch – caused when players from Europe and America played with each other – prevented the “Pay Day” and “Capture All Most Wanted Ghosts” Trophies (and subsequently, the game’s mandatory Platinum) from unlocking properly. If bustin’ ghosts with your international pals makes you feel good, it might be time to fire up Ghostbusters again.

What about the xbox 360? Are we getting a patch also? I hope it fixes the GB2 flight suit problem in single player.
The lip syncing seems to sorted now too.
I didn’t see any major leaps or anything, but I bet the inevitable comparison videos/still will prove me wrong.

I heard there’s already a patch for the xBox 360.
I started the game over again to see what is fixed and what isnt…
thing’s i’ve noticed to be fixed or at least working much better whether by intent of the patch or not:
1.) Lip Synch—much much more on spot
2.) Graphics-- they look much sharper and cleaner and dont have that soft feeling they used to have. the proton pack now looks like its made of metal rather than high quality glass.
3.) The effects (streams and traps) also look smooth and more like energy than they used to.
4.) Sound is improved and the audio is synced up better.
5.) The annoying freeze as you go down the stairs in the library level when the shelves first start to move is fixed. It no longer slows down or freezes. Its a smooth transition and greatly improves the atmosphere of that area.
6.) The ghosts AI seems to be smarter and more responsive…no idea if this was part of the patch or not but it seems like the little class 3’s in the hotel put up a hell of a fight and I needed help from Ray to get them in which I’ve never had trouble before but it was refreshing, not a bad thing at all. I love a challenge.
Have not had time yet to really test out MP. I spoke to Foom last night but he wasn’t on long enough to test our MP with so perhaps a bunch of us should get together and go for a few slime dunks or play a few rounds to see what we get. When I did try it, the connectivity issue seemed to be present and still in its bad state so no fix there as far as I can see so far. Could be wrong but I still couldnt find any games I could join.
Okey, I may be slow, but is this the update called “version 1.03” that you get to download now? I’ve been ill this week so I haven’t been playing GBTV for a while, but when I sat down to play the game now (I have PS3) I was asked to download an upgrade called 1.03 (59 MB).
Yeah, 1.03 is it.

Yes this was great, haven’t played single player yet with the patch but got both slimers in one campaign. Felt great to slam that little turd into the trap.
Just wanted to post again saying that I played single player again with the patch and the GB2 Gamestop suit wasn’t fixed in the patch, still get the logo on logo as before.
When are they going to fix that? It makes me thing I should have gotten my game from best buy.
I don’t know. I don’t have a xBox 360 and I don’t have the game for it. It’s just something I heard. I see if I can find the post and link it here.
I’m still having trophy issues for Gozer’s Most Wanted and Payday! I know for a fact (checklist) that I’ve completed the requirements for both of them at least once. I tried Gozer’s Most Wanted before the patch dropped but I’m currently playing through all the Instant again. I’m considering deleting my Game Utility Data (but not my Save Game Data) and re-installing it and re-downloading the patch. Anyone have any suggestions before I try this?
