Path to Accurate/Affordable Name tags

Hey guys! I have a buddy who has made a few patches for me on Etsy. All of his stuff is very high quality. He is willing to make name tags for the community for a good price, setup fee based upon how many are made per order, then $5+ $2 shipping. I already gave him all the details/measurements for the black part of the patch. I’m sure he also wouldn’t mind GB2 style. He just needs the details/measurements etc. I WILL be using Kingpin’s font. I used the first movie and the video game as a reference. Everything is go.

He also said to let you guys know he is working on a Ghostbusters logo patch. So you guys might wanna check it out in the future next time you get a new suit or if you are unhappy with the quality of your current one.

I had to make my own tag on an old sewing machine with zigzag function.

Wow. The font looks great as a set of real tags. :slight_smile:

Makes me think about going back and taking another look at the font, now that we’ve got some better reference material to work with.

Well I compared the font to the first movie and the video game. It looks pretty damn accurate.

I guess it’d be minor adjustments… compare the letter set that appears in the movies to the font and tweak any bits now we have those close-up shots.

If I were to get around to it. As is I’m pleased with the font as it currently exists.

I ordered his gb logo arm patch and name patch. They came out great. I recommend JoJo as well. They are accurate and the pair of patches was only 14.50 total after shipping and came in two days.

You have to message him about it. I ordered 2 from him and they are absolutely beautiful.

Is there I way to change the “I” to looking like an uppercase I with the line on top and bottom. In the videogame the I in rookie looks like ( I ) < this

It should be possible, although bear in mind this font was created prior to the videogame.

I know its a small thing to dislike, but I don’t like the game’s “I”. If all the other letters are sans-serrif it should just be a line.

Technically speaking, the S is serifed.

I got my GB1-style tags from Jojo, and will post pictures.

I rank them as FABULOUS.

Plus he was prompt, made sure I was satisfied with the size/look/layout/clolour, offered the velcro or iron-on options, and shipped them reasonably and rather professionally.

My sister was so impressed she’s probably going to get him to do her some BPR Hellboy patches for her outfit too.

Yeah I just asked him to make my revamped Ghostbuster Luigi no-ghost patch.

I used JoJoCustomizes and got the tags in maybe 2 days after he sewed them and they look GREAT!!! I highly suggest looking to him to make your name tags! And they were amazingly priced! All-in-all, Amazing.
